I'd like to introduce you to gModeller, an energy analysis plugin for Google Sketchup.

Based on the gbXML standard for designing resource efficient buildings and specifying associated equipment, gModeller enables the building designer to decorate 3D Google SketchUp building models with gbXML surfaces and openings, identify and label gbXML spaces, and import and export gbXML models.

You can use the exported gbXML file with various energy analysis platforms including greenspaceLive's gEnergy as well as IES, Ecotect and TAS.
